Robert Nathan Levin

Robert Nathan Levin, pianist, writer, translator, pedagogue and dear friend. Along with his wife Zaida Booth Levin, he commissioned and premiered the Three Poems for Two Violins and Piano and A Mountain Path. He was also the librettist for The Crossing for tenor, violin, cello and piano which was premiered at the Windham Chamber Music Festival in 2000. This narrative poem is based upon the life of Frances Burns, the first African-American Methodist Bishop and an early resident of Windham, NY.
